Representatives of the State Tax Service took part in working meetings with advisers of the Office of Technical Assistance of the US Treasury Department on international taxation

Representatives of the State Tax Service took part in working meetings with advisers of the Office of Technical Assistance of the US Treasury Department within framework of implementation of the Work Plan of the Office of Technical Assistance of the US Treasury Department for the State Tax Service for 2021-2024.

Matters of international taxation were discussed during the meeting, in particular, regarding the introduced rules on controlled foreign companies.

Specific attention was paid to practical cases regarding income payments to non-residents and transfer pricing. Results of work in the international taxation sphere, which were approved by advisers of the Office of Technical Assistance, were also presented.

Participants also discussed on-demand and automated exchange of tax information.

Event contributed to the improvement of professional skills, acquired knowledge and experience will be used in conducting work in the international taxation sphere.

Priority areas of work in the future were determined based on the meeting results.
